I just wanted to thank you for a fantastic trip. The pace, camp sites and services were perfect. I didn’t expect to eat or sleep as comfortably as I did. Please also pass on my thanks to Maurico for a brilliant job guiding us; it was just the right balance of trekking, information and encouragement. The trip was made even better with reasonable weather and a great group of co-trekkers. I haven’t stopped recounting tales to friends and family since getting back.

(PBC) We can't say enough positive things about our trip, Paine Big Circuit

We can't say enough positive things about our trip, Paine Big Circuit, in December. It was the most amazing adventure ever, and we are so grateful to have had Mauricio and Claudio in our group. Mauricio has such endless enthusiasm and a passion for the environment. He was extremely capable in leading us, and took the time to point out the flowers, the trees, and historical facts. Always positive and cheerful, it made for a fun week even when we were beat and tired. He had amazing energy and his love for the environment is apparent. He worked hard and made sure we were all taken care of. I always felt like our group was in excellent hands.

Having Claudio there to film and take photos just made the adventure even more special, since we now have the gift of his work to share with our friends and family. The entire process of working with Chile Nativo to research the routes, make the reservations, and arrive/depart smoothly worked very well. The trip was easy to book and Gonzalo was very responsive to my questions. The lists helped quite a bit. Payment transactions were smooth, and our flights and bus worked out well.

I continue to recommend your company and the route to my friends here in the US. We hope to return someday to explore more of Patagonia. This trip was on my "bucket list" and I have such incredible memories, along with fabulous photos - it will be hard to beat. It was one of the toughest vacations I've ever had - the hikes challenged me every day. But the rewards were well worth the effort. Patagonia will always be special to me, and I thank Chile Nativo for bringing me to this amazing land.

(PBC) Full Circuit - Great Trip!

An amazing trip over some very rough terrain. Mud, rocks and rivers tested our physical ability but made it all the more rewarding. Guides were professional and appreciated as we trekked through inclement weather conditions. Great trip! Guides were great! Always professional, safety conscious and turned out to be great chefs! Armando's coffee is the best!

We had an amazing trip that truly tested our mental and physical ability. The guides were great - they set the pace and helped each of us individually when we need it. An overall great experience.

My Torres del Paine Circuit trek was the experience of a lifetime, one I will never forget. Absolutely beautiful! Our guides, Mauricio and Miriam, were incredible. They made the trip even more amazing; not to mention the lentil soup they made for us on night 4 was incredible! On that note, all the meals were great, especially at Seron Campsite as well. The itinerary was perfect, too. I liked that we started with the tours and made our way around the mastiff from there - there were wonderful surprises along the way, too, like the daisy fields of the Enchanted Valley on Day 2 and the dense forests and glaciers on Day 4. Of course, the John Gardner pass was challenging but our group was so supportive and enthusiastic, Mauricio and Miriam made it all the more enjoyable. And oh my, how insane was the Southern Patagonian Ice Field! All in all, this trip with Chile Nativo to Torres del Paine National Park is in the top 3 of my lifetime for sure.

(PBC) Family Trekking and Kayaking Adventure in Torres del Paine

Chile Nativo provided excellent guides and service (Lucas for the Classic Full Circuit Trek, and Chappa for the kayaking). I would say that the enjoyment of the activities is certainly dependent on previous experience and weather and is not straightforward if the former is limited and the latter is bad. Mike and I managed to capsize our kayak in front of the Serrano Glacier in a gust of wind and, whilst all ended well and we considered it an exhilarating experience, that might not have been the case if our children had both been as inexperienced as us and also capsized!

The guides were phenomenal. They were incredibly experienced. We always felt like they were two steps ahead of us, making sure we were safe and well taken care of. Beyond that, they were just a lot of fun to talk to and hang with.

We really enjoyed the refugios at Grey and Dickenson. I felt that they were not recommended. I would be a little more proactive in facilitating refugio reservations when possible for at least one or two nights. They are good mid-point refreshers if there are any issues sleeping in tents (e.g. high winds, cold temps, people snooring ;)

Once in a lifetime experience incredibly well executed.

Thanks to the entire Nativo crew for my/our great trip to Patagonia. Mauricio and Fernando were terrific - energetic, knowledgeable and fun. Loved the small touches of snacks in the afternoon and hot tea on the hike. Fabulous experience. I will let my friends know they should come to Chile and hike with Nativo.

I came to the full circuit trip with high expectations and chile nativo exceeded them in every way. The staff were professional and knowledgeable and efficient. We were provided with everything we needed, from good food to in depth explanations of the natural world to encouragement when needed. Mauricio and Fernando were excellent guides! And the porters were terrific as well. I will recommend chile nativo to anyone who wants a high quality professional guided trip to Patagonia.

We had a very good experience with the local partner, Chile Nativo. They were extremely responsive to all my questions and very helpful in making some of the additional arrangements with travel, buses, etc. However, probably the best part of the experience was our two guides from Chile Nativo, Pablo and Fran. They were phenomenal! They were so knowledgeable, so helpful, so kind, and really helped create a great experience for all of us. We definitely could not have done the circuit or had the experience we did without them. They really worked with our group to got to know our personalities (and humor) and made for a great experience. At the end of the trip, we were all quite sad to have to say goodbye to them. They really made the difference for us!

I loved the variety and diversity of the trek from the forests to the valleys to the plains to the glacier fields. It really made for a fascinating experience. As I mentioned in my earlier response, our guides, Pablo and Fran, were amazing. They were a big reason for our positive experience. They not only guided us, helped us, taught us, and encouraged us, but they also became part of our group in terms of relationships and friendships.

The camp experiences were great. I loved the locations, the food was always greatly appreciated and enjoyed. I felt we had enough time to relax and rejuvenate. The bathrooms and showers were not always the best experiences, but our expectations weren't really that high for those. In terms of logistics, everything worked as planned. My only recommendation for Chile Nativo would be to keep using Pablo and Fran!

Surprising us with snacks and wine most nights absolutely spoiled us. I even wanted a snack in the van on the way home! Everything ran smoothly and Mauricio was incredibly fun, yet professional. Jaraldo was quiet and lovely as well. The porters could have shaken the tents out a bit more, but always were there before we arrived and with smiles on their faces.

So attentive and thoughtful. Always looking out for the group as a whole to make sure everyone was happy, healthy (feet included), and comfortable. The fact that he even sang happy birthday to me and had a candle was pretty special.

I agree with Mauricio that poles were pretty helpful. I did not see the use of gaiters and had bought them.

I think the way you schedule the trip is perfect, cutting the last bit off the w-trek, doing the two days as day hikes.

Emails were always promptly responded to and information given. The only thing I would say is I didn't understand why you scheduled my bus so late until I got there. It would have helped to know that the bus actually stopped at the PA airport, not just went to the town.

super positive and I know I lucked out on the group itself. We all hiked at the same speed and really meshed. Great experience.

I can't say enough good things about Mauricio, Gerardo and the Chile Nativo organization. We had a wonderful trip - everything felt extremely well organized and I always felt safe and taken care of. Our guides were able to make the trip feel special and to deal with our group that contained a wide variety of personalities. They also did a great job explaining the park and our trek to us and helping us to learn about Patagonia.

I said it above but we really thought Mauricio and Gerardo went above and beyond as guides to make sure that everyone on the trip had an exceptional time. The amount of time and attention they spent ensuring the trip went smoothly and everyone was not only safe but happy was admirable.

A really fun trip in a beautiful place with nice people.

our meals from your company were excellent, when we depended on the private landowners or refugios they were poor, lunch actually made 3 people( out of five) in our group ill, tainted meat, moldy bread Chuma was an excellent cook and carried extra food coffee He also took extraordinary care of our"gluten Free" traveler ;she was quite hard to please

Real passion and knowledge for the landscape, ( Nat'l Park)wildlife, birds, resources Very resourceful, very safe, well known and respected by other guides, tours, etc Very fun and funny,

The trip was fantastic and I was extremely satisfied with Chile Nativo. All of the trip logistics were planning well and went smoothly. The trek itself was amazing, he landscapes were beautiful beyond words and each day was so different and unique. The terrain was actually less challenging than I expected! But the elements, i.e. wind, made it difficult at times. The meals were far better than I expected, especially at the more remote refugio’s.

My tour guide, Mauricio, was great - he went above and beyond to make sure the group was comfortable and happy at all times, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the region and would teach us along the way. The little things he did for the group are what really set him apart in my mind - making french press coffee in his nalgene for us, carrying one of my group members’ sleeping bags for her to lighten her load, talking to the refugio staff at Refugio Grey so that we could use the hot water for showers before 6pm, cooking us a fantastic meal at Los Perros, always being conscious and accommodating of members of the group who had dietary restrictions, taking photos for each and every group member, etc. I feel lucky to have had Mauricio as my guide.

The accommodations were overall very good, although I felt that on some of the windier nights, the tents were being manipulated a bit and and I was nervous it wasn’t quite sturdy enough. But they were large and generally comfortable.

The booking process was easy. The Chile Nativo staff was friendly and prompt with responses, always getting back to me within 1 day. I adored my group members and we all got along great, but, as a more fit person, it was frustrating at times to have to take frequent breaks to ensure that the large group was still together. The itinerary was great, each day was different and unique and the number of “easy” days versus “hard” days was a good balance. Although, as someone who is more fit and always searching for a challenge, more mileage on the shorter days would have been welcome by me, although I realize that the natural landscape/terrain can’t be changed!

Day 1 and 5 were definitely tough, with high mileage and difficult terrain, but I expected more days to be like that. Day 2, 3 and 6 were shorter days on generally flat terrain. On these days, we did not leave camp in the morning until 11am! It was too much down time in the morning for me, especially since we weren’t always able to stay in the refugio’s during this time since they had to clean and prepare for that days arrivals. But the landscape exceeded all of my expectations in sheer beauty, and Patagonia did not disappoint in taking my breath away. I was nervous about being part of a large group, and although I was a bit slowed down by the group, in general everyone was similar fitness levels and age ranges (luck?!) and having the camaraderie of the group adding an entire different element to the trek and I would not have done it differently! The food along the way definitely exceeded expectations - breakfasts and dinners were always delicious and cooked hot for us (even at Los Perros - that might have been our favorite meal!). The lunches packed by the refugio’s were great given the supplies they had, and the snacks (nuts, bars, chocolate) kept me well fueled throughout the duration of the trek. The porters were so friendly and fun, and did a great job putting up my tent each day and making sure it was clean. As mentioned above, my guide was phenomenal and he really helped make the experience incredible. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and we were well taken care of by Chile Nativo. Even the smaller details, like not having to wait in line to get into the park on Day 1, made the experience that much better - we were taken care of in every way! Definitely money well spent!

Mauricio is an experienced and responsible guide. I wish he showed more passion for the region and told us more stories about the park and the people I Patagonia region.

We requested a change of the itinerary to include sunrise and sunset at the base of terros. We are glad that your company can accommodate our request and made the trip so memorable. We got the best viewing of sunrise of the terros

Great trip to see the park on foot for 8 days. The memory will live with me forever.
