Central Valley

Nestled in the Andean foothills and around the Mapocho River, Santiago offers much more than one might anticipate. Here, ancient traditions coexist with 21st century life on every street and in each neighborhood.
As summer arrives, city dwellers' minds turn to the beach, and Valparaíso and Viña del Mar(just a little over an hour away by car), during the winter, many head to the ski resorts perched less than 40 km away in the Andes, each spring brings Chilean Independence Day (September 18), which is the perfect time to enjoy harvest celebrations in the Central Valley with a nice glass of Chilean wine in hand.

ACROSS THE ANDES (11D/10N)
  Horseback Riding
An extraordinary and fantastic experience in a journey with a high historical component, as we will follow the path of the Liberation Army that in 1817 freed Chile from the Spanish monarchy. It is a 7 day expedition, crossing rivers, and sharing the typical customs and plowing traditions with local “huasos” and “gauchos”, with the highest peaks of America as our background: Mercedario (6.770 m) and the Aconcagua (6.959 m ). This last one is the highest in the Continent and they both are covered with glaciers and eternal snow.
