Day 1 Early morning we will start from Puerto Natales, taking a private transfer along an unpaved road heading to Torres Del Paine National Park and the administration area. From here we start a 6 hours hike to the shore of the Pehoe Lake where we are going to spend the night in the warmth and shelter of a modern Mountain Lodge (Refugio) on the Shore of Pehoe Lake. On the way we follow the Grey River and have a picnic lunch in this pristine area.
(2 hours by private transfer, 6 hours walk) (BL-D) (Night in Refugio Paine Grande)
Day 2 We will begin early morning with our hike to the Grey Glacier. Initially ascending 200mts up a winding narrow path leading us to Laguna Negra, a place where we will observe the first glimpses of the South Patagonia Ice Field with its many unclimbed mountains. We will advance through forests and rivers, with possible sightings of spectacle and flying steamer ducks, up to the glacier view point. We will have lunch at this place to see, if we are lucky enough, ice calving from the huge glacier wall. We will then return, following the same path, with views of Cordon Olguín and Paine Grande, to reach the same Refugio on the Shore of Pehoé Lake to spend our second overnight. (8 hours hike, 22KM) (B-BL-D) (Night in Refugio Paine Grande)
Day 3 We will start our day with a 2-hour walk going around the southwest side of Paine Grande, the highest peak in the Park, through native forests of Chilean fire bush and evergreen beech (Nothofagus Bethuloides), up to the hanging bridge over the French River for our first glimpses of the hanging glacier. Then we will ascend (300 M) for one hour through a surreal Japanese garden landscape, crossing beech forests, to reach the French valley viewpoint gifting us with a magnificent view of both mountains and lakes. We will lunch here with good possibilities of seeing avalanches from the hanging glacier or simply observe the west side of the Cuernos (2600 M), Espada (2400 M) and Fortaleza (2800 M). Our way back will be the same until we reach the entrance of the valley where we will hike back to the Pehoe Lake to spend the last night in the Paine Lodge. (6 hours hike, 17KM) (B-BL-D) (Night at Refugio Paine Grande)
Day 4 Early in the morning, we start our hike back to the administration area. From the administration we take our transfer all the way to the Torres area, the road cross almost all the park, with excellent pictures opportunities of the Paine Mountain, waterfalls, lakes and wildlife. We spend the night in a comfortable lodge, at the foot of the trail to the famous towers. (5 hours hike, 1.5 hour by transfer) (B-BL-D) (Night at Refugio las Torres)
Day 5 From the Hotel las Torres we begin hiking towards the base of the Towers lookout point following the Ascensio River before entering the Ascensio Valley. Our walk will be uphill for one hour, stopping to observe the first glimpses of the valley and panoramic views of the Lake Nordenskjold. During the following 2 hours, we’ll walk through unbelievable forests of tall deciduous beech and waterfalls, and then continue ascending through a huge terminal moraine up to a photographic viewpoint (900m); surrounded by three giant granite towers (2850m) and a lagoon with slurry waters resulting from glacial erosion. We will stop here for lunch, taking our time to enjoy this astonishing scenery, before our descent returning along the same path back to the hotel where we will take our private transfer and return to Puerto Natales. (8 hours hike, 16 KM, 2 hours private transfer) (B-BL)

A trip of a lifetime -- with huge thanks to Gonzalo, Rebecca, and Pato! We enjoyed all the food -- trail mix, soups, coffee with Bailey's, avocado, home-baked bread, and smoked salmon. We liked Gonzalo's suggestions for our challenging trekking routes; he was also looking out to make sure our activities were safe given daylight and weather conditions. We really appreciated the 'extras', such as the maps we received, the trekking poles he brought for us, the drop-in visit to Explora, the visit to the Chile Nativo office in Puerto Natales, and the Chile Nativo DVD! Pato was a great driver and we are glad that he was able to join us for some of our hikes.
Gonzalo was a fantastic guide -- very energetic, knowledgeable, and his passion for Patagonia was evident throughout our entire tour! We also appreciated that he contacted us on the day we arrived from Punta Arenas. Your care and thoughtfulness in designing an itinerary that maximized our experience in Torres del Paine was the reason we decided to choose Chile Nativo. After a fantastic tour, you have proven to us that you were the best choice!
We did compare the cost of a winter trek with some other operators; Chile Nativo was more expensive but we knew that we were paying more for a better experience with you, so in the end, your price was very reasonable. After our trip, we are certain that the little extra that we spent for Chile Nativo was totally worth it! We would recommend you to all of our friends and will be posting positive comments on some websites such as TripAdvisor, etc.
